We set out to build the cleanest, fastest, and most privacy-secure digital measurement tool on the web. No clunky software installations, no server uploads, and no complex CAD interfaces. Just upload, calibrate, and measure.
Our mission.
Getting accurate real-world measurements often requires finding a physical tape measure or ruler. But in our digital-first world, we almost always have a smartphone in our pocket. We created measurell to leverage your phone's camera, bridging the gap between 2D digital photographs and physical metrics using a known standard (like a credit card or a coin) as a scale bridge.
Our priority is to make this process accessible, highly accurate (achieving 95-99% accuracy when photographed properly), and absolutely secure by running all graphics processing directly in your local browser sandbox.
How it works.
Align reference.
Place a known reference item (like a standard credit card) flat beside your subject and click a photo.
Calibrate scale.
Drag the blue calibration frame over the reference item in the canvas editor to establish pixels-per-millimeter.
Draw targets.
Draw lines, bounding boxes, or paths over the target objects to instantly calculate their actual physical dimensions.
