Privacy Policy.

Privacy is baked into our architecture. Unlike traditional online utility tools, measurell does not upload, transfer, or store your photos on any remote servers. All image rendering, canvas annotation, and measurement calculations happen strictly within your local web browser session.

1. Information we process.

Our application requires access to the image files you select to measure. When you upload a photo, it is loaded directly into your browser's local memory (RAM) via a standard Web Blob URL.

At no point is the photo binary data transmitted across the internet. The processing is entirely isolated to your client-side environment (your browser tab).

2. Local storage and persistence.

We use simple browser-native localStorage to remember your interface preferences, such as:

  • Your preferred length unit (millimeters, centimeters, inches, etc.).
  • Your theme choice (dark or light mode).

This data remains stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time by resetting your browser history or site settings.

3. Analytics and tracking.

To maintain utility and speed, we collect minimal, non-identifying telemetry about tool usage (such as page views or system errors). We do not collect personal identify information, GPS locations, or image metadata.

4. Third-party APIs.

Any computer vision features (such as auto-detection of credit cards or coins) run directly within your browser container using client-side scripts. No third-party API or AI cloud is queried with your images.

5. Contact us.

If you have questions about our local-first privacy architecture, you can contact us at privacy@measurell.com or use our contact page.
